How Much Money Can You Make in Two Hours with Just $5?
Tina Seelig, Executive Director for the Stanford Technology Ventures Program did a great experiment with her class on how to create wealth in two hours with just five dollars of seed money. This exercise is an excellent wake up call for those of us who get stuck on “wealth generation/creation” from time to time. It’s also excellent proof of just how creative we can be if we get the needed clarity and focus.
Each of fourteen teams received an envelope with five dollars of “seed funding” and was told they could spend as much time as they wanted planning. They were given from Wednesday afternoon until Sunday evening to complete the task. At the end of the assignment, each team had to send in one slide describing what they had done, and on Monday afternoon each team had three minutes to present their project to the class.
