the truth. With the right mindset and the implementation of these 10 success principles, average joes can transform their life instantly.

1. Maintain a fearless spirit.

Even when the goal seems bigger than them, successful people do not allow its magnitude to deter their course of action. They develop an unrelenting determination to realize the vision others thought was impossible.

2. Know exactly what they want.

They set specific goals. As an example, they are starting a new business and preparing the financial forecast for their new venture. Their financial forecast would focus on the projected revenue that they intend to bring in over a specific period of time. The projected revenue may be $1,200,000 which must be achieved  in a three to five year period depending on that person’s individual goals. With the revenue and time established to reach that goal, the focus will be shifted on generating at least $240,000 to $400,000 per year based on their time period of choice.

3. Implement the goals that they set.

While setting goals is an essential part of any successful person’s journey, what really takes that person out of the average joe category is putting those goals into motion. Although they may traveling on unknown territory, they do not allow the fear of their new journey to consume their thoughts and draw them away from what they ought to be doing. Therefore, they focus their time and efforts on achieving their goals.

4. Eliminate perfection from their agenda.

Successful people work at whatever point they are in life, while the average joe tends to wait until all their ducks are lined up. Successful people may not have the skills or financial support to get them to the next phase of their journey, however they do not allow such challenges to erode their goals. Instead they take on a whole new perspective. They take themselves out of the picture frame and begin finding solutions for the issues that arise.

5. Adopt the method of simplicity.

Oftentimes the average joe takes a straightforward situation and overcomplicates the process of how that matter can be resolved. Successful people, on the other hand, would view that situation as an opportunity to grow. This is where they would dissect the situation and make decisions about how it can be easily resolved without affecting them and other parties who may be involved. With the focus shifted on resolution, they have now set themselves up to emerge as winners.

6. Learn from their mistakes and move forward.

Successful people understand that mistakes are a part of the process they must undergo when venturing into new grounds. Once they commit a mistake, they do not allow that setback to delay their actions. They know that thinking negatively would not bring them any closer to overcoming those challenges. Therefore, they use their mistakes as stepping stones in their journey and infuse positivity into the experience to make it a fulfilling one.

7. Focus on being productive rather than busy.

Productivity is the key to producing results. Successful people remain consistent in each and every phase of their plan. They allocate a portion of their day to complete tasks in which they are competent, instead of spending several hours consumed with activities that they are unable to do for themselves. When they lack the skills to perform the work in a specific area, they may outsource that work to individuals who are competent enough to do so. Using this approach, successful people are capable of accomplishing more tasks in one day than if they had done so on their own.

8. Surround themselves with like minded individuals.

The saying birds of a feather flock together holds true in this case. As successful people move away from a life of mediocrity, they no longer associate themselves with people who do not share their vision. Having a supportive unit plays a fundamental role in their progress. Such support may not necessarily come through face to face interaction, but in the form of audios, DVDs, books, or other resources produced by those who have accomplished what they are looking for or are already experiencing.

9. Develop a balanced life.

Successful people do not allow their work to overshadow other important areas of their life. They ensure that their health is in the best shape. After dedicating all their time to seeing their vision come to fruition, they wouldn’t want to know that all their efforts were in vain. Maintaining a healthy lifestyle and being actively involved with their family is worth more than working themselves into the ground.

10. Track their progress and make adjustment accordingly.

As they work toward realizing their vision, successful people analyze their results as they ascend to another level. If they have not met the requirements to move forward, they take that time to identify the problem and head back to the drawing board with new ideas.
